Welcome to Zen Shway Studio, home of small batch handmade pottery by Stacie Hibino. I mostly make functional pottery (e.g., planters, vases, mugs, bowls, etc.) and a few small decorative items such as gnomes, ornaments and other kawaii items.
I sell my pottery locally in San Jose and other cities in the San Francisco Bay Area a few times throughout the year. I post upcoming pottery events on my social media pages (@zenshway on Instagram and Facebook) as well as here via Events. I also have a few items available online via San Jose Made.
About the Zen Shway Studio logo: the logo is based on a beautiful ink drawing by Japanese artist Mori Yuzan. Three volumes of Yuzan’s illustrations from 1903 are included in an archive titled “Hamonshū”, in the public domain and available on the Internet Archive.
